Mission Statement & Our Vision

Our Mission

Our aim is to deliver high quality care by providing a happy, friendly, well structured, stimulating and non discriminatory safe environment for all children. Children’s needs and well being is paramount and will be at the heart of what we do and they will be developed by learning through play in our bilingual setting.

We will deliver The Foundation Phase both indoors and outdoors where a great deal of time will be spent as we are aware that the natural environment impacts favourably on children.  Activities planned are purposeful, effective, relate to the real world, and support the children’s future development and learning. We plan to get children ready for school through teaching them life skills and helping them to become more confident and independent.

We are passionate about the home cooked food served which is healthy and nutritionally balanced.  We promote positive behaviour and everybody has a voice including the children, parents and all members of staff.  We have an ongoing drive for improving quality and support staff and invest heavily in training.

Our Vision

We have a clear vision at our nursery which is to always put children first and give them the best start in life.  All children will receive the highest level of care and education in our happy, safe, nurturing, inclusive and healthy bilingual setting.  Corwen Day Nursery values all children, families and staff and children will be inspired and supported by the dedicated flourishing members of staff to play, learn and develop.  We are aiming to be an outstanding values based nursery, striving for excellence and for all children to achieve and succeed in all areas of learning.

Corwen Day Nursery is an amazing nursery where children are most definitely put first. My son is thriving and enjoys all learning experiences that he participates in. The food he receives is of the highest standard and his table manners are excellent for a child that has just turned three.

Fantastic nursery. Out daughter loves going to nursery, which is a huge relief for working parents having to leave their child for the day. The staff at the nursery ensure there is always something exciting and different to do each day. My daughter has developed hugely since starting at the nursery and I believe that this is not only down to the social interaction, but the quality of care shown by the staff. It is refreshing to see a nursery that that considers the quality of the child's experience rather than being merely a child minding service.
